Walk My Past

If you are a regular Twitter user, you might have caught site of a truly wonderful new Genealogy Community called Walk My Past.

The site and online community is run by owner Abbie and has quickly built up a great online following and a growing list of Genies and followers.

Like the best ideas, this is a wonderfully simple concept, its a worldwide community of enthusiastic Family History Genies who are there to help others solve their genealogy problems and Brick walls.

The best about it of course is, its totally free!!

There are various ways that you can get involved.

Become a Genie: A genie is the name given to those people who are willing to volunteer their time to help others with their research. You can register online, create a profile and get to works helping others from around the world, its as simple as that.

Do you need to be an expert? No of course not, if you are enthusiastic and keen to help others then that’s all that’s required.

So why not join this growing community and “put something back” into this wonderful hobby that we all enjoy.
