‘Dear Paul’

I am deeply honoured and humbled to be the new face behind Family Tree Magazine’s general miscellany page, known as ‘Dear Paul’.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank my predecessors, ‘Dear Karen’ and ‘Dear Tom’ for all their hard work over the years, making the column such a loved and integral part of the Magazine.

I am very pleased to be entrusted with taking the column forward and bringing my own personality to the pages, I am both nervous and excited about this new adventure and hope that you all come along for the ride.

Of course the column relies on the readers to send in their general family history miscellany stories, either funny, quirky, weird or even record breaking! The more the merrier!
